Our holiday home is located along the ‘Westhoek’ cycling network (close to junction 77) and along the ‘Hoppeland’ walking network (between junction 80 and 81).
Different routes depart from the village of Watou.

On a decorative tour with hops
The hop fields adorn the landscape in this beautiful region. It is also the ideal opportunity to follow the brewing process of beer in the hops museum of Poperinge, in one of the breweries of Watou or at the premises of the hop growers themselves. The Abbey of Sint-Sixtus in West-Vleteren is located just a stone's throw away from the holiday home. In the café 'In de Vrede' you can taste this heavenly drink yourself! But there are also numerous cafés in the village of Watou where you can enjoy soaking up the local atmosphere.
